Place the carpet comfortably in the room. Its walls should be about 10 cm apart. Leave the carpet in the room for several hours so that it can lie flat without wrinkles.

Note: Natural fiber carpets should be kept at room temperature for at least 24 hours.

Measure the lengths of the carpets with a difference of about 2%. Because textiles such as carpets can be affected by moisture in the environment, the area of the carpet can be reduced.

2-) At a glance; keep the carpet close to the edges on the side. Cut approximately 10 cm. Secure the carpet to the floor with double-sided tape or carpet glue. You can also set it diagonally for larger rooms.  You must do this.

Using a cutting tool or the side edge of a pair of scissors, bring the carpet closer to the side edges of the room. Then cut the carpet with a carpet knife and the cutting edge with a difference of 10 cm. Leave about 10 cm of cut edge before gluing.

Use carpet glue or double-sided tape to secure the carpet. Double-sided adhesive tape is ideal for carpets made from natural fibers or fleece lining. For small areas, apply the adhesive tape only to the edges of the carpet– for larger rooms and carpeted floors, also apply diagonally. When gluing with double-sided adhesive tape, you firmly press the carpet to the floor with a large object.

3-) At a glance; apply the adhesive and apply it to the floor, lay the carpet on the adhesive you applied, make corrections and ventilate well, cut the side margins, cut the carpet diagonally at the inner corners. You must do this.

For natural fiber carpets that need to be glued to the entire surface, apply the carpet adhesive to the subfloor and spread it evenly with a notched trowel. Proceed step by step and spread the glue on half of the room first. Adhesive application should be at least 600 g/m2 with a B2 notch. You can also glue the cut edges with glue.

Then lay the carpet on the floor, which is still sticky, and press the coating to the fixation. Then flatten the carpet to the sides with a roller. Make the necessary corrections immediately and ventilate the rooms thoroughly.

After gluing, completely cut off the protruding side edges. 2. follow the procedure in the step. Then cut the carpet diagonally in the inner corners, without going all the way to the floor. Make sure that the carpet knife is completely sharp and, if necessary, immediately replace it with a sharp knife.

Now push the protruding parts towards the corner. Then completely cut off the remaining part. Be careful not to cut the carpet too much. Also, pay attention to the outer corners of the walls, when cutting the carpet focused on the floor. As for the inner corners of the room, the protruding carpet can be removed delicately and easily.

If October carpet lengths need to be laid, place the lengths approximately 3 cm to 5 cm in a row and cut both floor coverings with a carpet knife. You will get an uninterrupted proportion. But make sure that the pattern of the carpet loops and the direction of work are matched and correct.

Tip: Go over the carpet with an empty bottle. The straight direction it creates is the direction the carpet should be.

It is necessary to work precisely on the door frame and the threshold: with the non-sharp side of the knife, you press the carpet to the edge, then cut about half a centimeter from above. Then you bring the short carpet ledge under the door sill with a knife. Take your precaution by covering the carpet along the walls with a wooden skirting board.
